About me
My desire, curiosity, and passion to experiment with new materials and mediums is as strong as what I feel with the tools I know—my camera, pencil, paintbrush, and wood. There is a whole world of materials to explore and utilize in an impactful and beneficial way: from decorative or thought provoking artwork to architecture, lighting and furniture design, I aim to explore it all.
My main focus has seemingly been on the sculptural, with a desire to explore interior design elements and architecture as it pertains to the human living experience. Our spaces are an extension of ourselves and have a profound impact on our well-being and creativity. Art in the home is more than a painting on the wall; it's in the energy of the space and the air we breathe.
Since I was a child, I've always felt a deep connection to things I observed, whether it be a man-made creation, something of nature, or music—what was seemingly external myself often became a profound inner experience.
Life is art, and existence is art; one cannot exist without the other, and both are an exercise in seeing and moving beyond limitations (a protest against the powers that aim to enforce the contrary).
